Now that I’m a Goizueta alumnus, what print library resources do I have access to?
You may use any print resources in the Emory Libraries, and search the library catalog remotely. Circulating materials check out for 28 days with your photo ID or Alumni EmoryCard. To apply for an Alumnus borrower account, visit the circulation desk. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services are not available to alumni. You might have ILL services available to you at your local public library.
What databases do I have access to?
You have remote access to an outstanding suite databases licensed for Goizueta alumni, with additional options while on-campus.
Remote access: Currently, all Goizueta alumni have remote access to Business Source Alumni Edition, EIU, Factiva, First Research, Hoovers, Marketline (Datamonitor), and Valueline.
Access information is available in the Alumni Library Information conference on First Class. You may also contact the Goizueta Alumni Relations Office at 404/727-6938 or at alumni@bus.emory.edu. Contact the business librarians for help developing effective search strategies and tips for using these databases.
Please keep in mind that access to the alumni databases, including the sharing of user names and passwords, is limited to Goizueta Business School alumni only. Violation of this policy may result in loss of alumni privileges.
On-campus access: Alumni may come into the library and to access articles from newspapers, magazines and industry profiles from our databases available to alumni. Alumni passwords are available at the Library Service Desk or from the business librarians.
Why don’t I have access to all the databases I used at Goizueta?
Most of the databases offered by the Goizueta Business Library are covered by license agreements whose vendors’ restrict their use to current students and faculty only. Databases available to alumni while on campus be accessed within the library on the alumni workstation; with the exception of the vendors above, remote access is prohibited by the vendors.
What are my other options for accessing electronic business information?
Many public libraries offer a variety of electronic and print resources. Company, industry, and job research can be conducted at most local public, academic or state libraries.
Georgia Residents: Contact your county public library to explore free remote access to Galileo. This includes many business databases such as ABI/Inform and Business Source Premier.
Non-Georgia Residents: Contact your local library to explore what business resources are available.

In general, you can expect to have access to articles from newspapers and magazines and company and industry profiles.
What research services do the business librarians provide alumni?
The Goizueta business librarians will work with you to develop a research strategy to obtain the business information you need. They can help you to more effectively use databases available on your desktop or to identify corporate resources, information brokers, and local public and academic libraries that may provide the information you need.
Due to restrictions in our vendor licensing agreements, we are unable to provide you with information from the Goizueta Business Library’s collection of databases, with the exception of those licensed for alumni.

I’m an alumnus looking for a job -- what Goizueta Business Library services are available to me?
In partnership with the Alumni Career Services, the Business Library offers specialized research assistance alumni who are job hunting or changing careers. This includes personal consultations and expanded access to databases. Begin by contacting the Alumni Career Services office. They will work with you to evaluate your job research needs. Then you may schedule a session with one of the business librarians to determine the best resources for your search.

What databases will I have access to?
Job seeking Goizueta alumni will be provided on-campus access to most of the library’s business databases.
How am I provided access to these resources?
During your scheduled appointment times, a business librarian will provide you with access and training for the databases you need. All job search sessions require an appointment.
What services are available to job seeking alumni outside of Atlanta?
The Goizueta business librarians will work with you to develop a research strategy to locate the job search information you need.
