BBA Program
Advanced Challenge 2013
The winning team in the 7th annual Advanced Challenge, sponsored by the Goizueta Business Library and the Goizueta Undergraduate Business Program at Emory University, made recommendations to Nestle as to what they should do with their stake in L'Oreal when the agreement between the two companies expires in 2014.
Nicola Braginsky, Kaidi Meng and Min Yang were the proud winners of gift baskets, thanks to the generosity of Staples, a preferred Emory vendor.
Fourteen business students researched the business issue and then presented their findings to judges Assistant Professor Rodney Lacey, Marilyn Pahr and Lee Pasackow, Business Librarians.
Participating students had completed six Business Essentials classes, a series offered by the business library to sharpen BBA research skills. The classes start students on their path toward becoming a problem solver and critical thinker - highly sought after skills in today's competitive market place.
