criteria including location, industry, and size.
Periodicals
Journals and newspapers offer a wealth of information on both large
and small/private companies. They also provide information on industry
trends and hiring practices.
Associations
Professional associations and organizations are a key source for
finding company and industry information as well as access to jobs
not normally posted in the major media.
Salary Research
Books, electronic resources and websites provide some information
about salaries and negotiation tactics. Talk to the CMC staff for
more details.
