Industry associations are a great source of information about the industry - its scope, how it works, trends, hot buttons and its outlook.
- Look for pages focused on industry outlook, research or resources. Most associations include free data and analysis from their annual state-of-the-art reports; most reports are relatively inexpensive, many under $100, if purchasing is an option.
- Call and speak with a staff person; ask about additional resources they could recommend
