Services to Alumni
The Goizueta Business Library is pleased to provide Goizueta alumni free remote access to both Factiva and EIU. Factiva is a premier business news database, and EIU offers premium global economic data and analysis.
Passwords for both databases are available in the Alumni Library Information Conference on First Class, or by e-mailing alumni@bus.emory.edu.
Remote access for Alumni
The library offers the following resources for alumni:
- Factiva Search Tips
- EIU -- Content from the Economist Intelligence Unit
- Business Book Reviews
- Business Research Resources
- Career Research
- Locating a Library
- Document Delivery
- Frequently Asked Questions
In general, if you have a business research question we recommend the following strategies:
-
Start with Factiva, one of the best business information databases.
-
If you live in Georgia, call your local public library to learn about remote access to Galileo, a collection of business databases, including ABI/Inform and Business Source Premier; you can also access Galileo from any of the Alumni or Public Access terminals in the Woodruff Library. If you live in another state, contact your local public library and ask if they subscribe to a consortium of databases for remote access by residents.
-
Tap into other local public, academic, and state libraries. Many subscribe to business electronic and print resources that are licensed for use by the public. To find a library near you, visit libweb.
