Take advantage of your free Alumni Factiva and Alumni EIU accounts. These have a wealth of information that can help you research companies and industries to prepare for an interview.
The How Do I Get What I Want? tutorial offers tips for using these databases and other library resources to research both companies and industries.
One quick approach:
- Select the Companies/Markets tab at the top of Factiva's search page.
- You can select from three tabs: quote, charting or company
- The Company tab will take you to Company Quick Search. This section offers profiles on 25,000+ public companies (U.S. & non U.S.) including: business description, key competitors, latest headlines and selected financial data.
To locate additional articles about a company or industry, review the library's tutorial: You've got the Interview, Now Research the Company Using Factiva.
Career Guides
Developed by Goizueta Business Librarians, the Career Guides cover a variety of career industries, functions, and geographic locations. Although some resources are not available to alumni, there are a variety of free websites available in each guide.
